In the time span between our first CD and “Dream Out Loud”, we have experienced so many changes in our lives and these changes are reflected in the change of direction that we have taken the music.
We have traveled, grown, shared our love of music with so many different people, and experienced different cultures and lives.
It is experiences such as these that help us to create and write new music. Every artist “Dreams” of this inspiration to write music, and when we record a new CD, we get to do it “Out Loud”.

At the time the idea to make a CD came about we were already playing small clubs in and around the Toronto area. As we continued to write and perform songs that would later appear on our CD, our musical style began to emerge.
People would often approach us inquiring about our style of music wondering whether it was Flamenco, Jazz or Latino. We enjoyed these inquiries because, to us, it meant that we were playing something new, something that people had never heard before.
One of the clubs where we played regularly at that time, had the words "El Duende" written across one of its walls in a graffiti-style. The owner of the club explained to us that "El Duende" was the spirit of Flamenco. It was this phrase that sparked the idea for the title of the CD.
Knowing that our music was inspired by the spirit of Flamenco and further adding our own influences of Jazz, Pop, Latin, and Rock, is what helped us to create our own distinct style which represents itself on the CD. The creation of this style and the people's reaction to it, said to us that we were adding new "colours" to the spirit (of flamenco and music itself).
